Vipers SC have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Glodi Beyuku Munsi from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), completing a move from Congolese top-flight giants AS Vita Club.

The 23-year-old forward joins the Venoms on a two-year contract after his deal with Vita was set to run until June 30th. His arrival makes him the first player signed by Vipers in the ongoing mid-season transfer window, underlining the club’s intent to reinforce key areas as they push for domestic and continental ambitions.
Proven Goal Threat
The Congolese attacker arrives at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, with encouraging numbers. He netted 10 goals last season for AS Vita, establishing himself as a reliable presence in the final third for one of DR Congo’s most decorated clubs.

He has also begun the current campaign in fine form, scoring two goals in two competitive appearances, a return that highlights his sharpness and eye for goal.
His blend of pace, movement and clinical finishing is expected to add a new dimension to Vipers’ frontline.
Competition in Attack
At Vipers, he will compete for a starting berth alongside established names such as Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo, Mark Yallah, Kenneth Kimera, Isaac Ogwang, and Milton Karisa.

The competition is likely to intensify in the second half of the season, with head coach and technical team keen on maintaining depth and rotation across competitions.
Regional Experience
Before his stint at AS Vita, the striker featured for OC Renaissance and AS Dauphins Noir, gaining valuable experience in the competitive Congolese top flight. His progression through these clubs has shaped him into a more mature and complete forward despite his relatively young age.
Statement Signing
Bringing in a player of his profile mid-season signals Vipers’ ambition to stay competitive at the highest level. With his recent scoring form and growing reputation in Central African football, expectations will be high for him to make an immediate impact in the Uganda Premier League.

As the Venoms sharpen their edge for the business end of the campaign, all eyes will be on their new Congolese marksman to see if he can translate his Vita form onto Ugandan soil.
Beyuku will wear the number 23 shirt and will immediately join up with the squad in this evenings training session.
Everyone at Vipers Sports Club welcomes Glodi Beyuku Munsi to St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
