Ugandan international and versatile midfielder Enock Ssebaggala has officially joined seven-time StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) champions, Vipers SC.

The 24-year-old dynamo has signed a two-year contract as the Venoms continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League campaign and the upcoming domestic season.
Fresh from NEC
Ssebaggala arrives at Kitende just over a week after departing last season’s Uganda Premier League (UPL) runners-up, NEC FC, where he spent two productive seasons following his earlier stint with 10-time Uganda Cup winners, Express FC.

During the recently concluded season, he made 26 appearances across the league and Uganda Cup, scoring four goals and providing five assists, underlining his creative and attacking prowess in midfield.
In league action alone, he featured in 20 matches, netting three goals and registering four assists.
National colours
On the international stage, Ssebaggala made his senior debut for the Uganda Cranes this year, featuring in the one-all draw against The Gambia in a friendly. He is also part of the Uganda Cranes squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in August.

At Vipers SC, Ssebaggala is expected to face healthy competition in midfield from the likes of Marvin Joseph Youngman, Paul Patrick Mbowa, Karim Watambala, Issa Bugembe, Abubakali Walusimbi, and Moses Waiswa, as the Venoms aim to compete strongly on all fronts.
What Enock Ssebaggala said:
“It’s an honour to join Vipers SC, one of the biggest clubs in the region. I am ready to work hard, learn from my teammates, and contribute towards winning more trophies for this great club and its fans.”
Ssebaggala becomes Vipers SC’s second signing of the transfer window, following the arrival of Liberian striker Mark Yallah.
He will don the number 8 jersey, and everyone at Vipers SC warmly welcomes Enock to the Venoms family.
