In a bid to bolster the attacking options, StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions and Uganda Cup winners, Vipers Sports Club, have completed the signing of Liberian international forward Mark Yallah.

The 25-year-old striker has penned a permanent three-year contract with the Venoms, becoming the club’s first signing in the current transfer window.

Yallah arrives at Kitende off the back of a prolific season with Liberian outfit FC Fassell, where he netted 20 goals during the 2024/25 campaign, finishing as the second top scorer in the Liberian First Division behind Nicholas Andrew who netted 21 goals.

Reputation intact

His goal-scoring exploits included a remarkable run of 10 goals in the final four matches of the season between March and April, featuring a four-goal masterclass against Freeport FC. That performance added to his earlier hat-trick against the same opponent in November.

Prior to his time at Fassell, Yallah featured for Mozambican side Associa Black Bull FC and Liberian 1st Division outfit Muscat Football Club, further highlighting his experience across top African leagues.

He joins an already potent Vipers frontline boasting Yunus Sentamu, Kenneth Kimera, Gusto Mulongo, Isaac Ogwang, and Annest Ankunda, as the club looks to maintain its domestic dominance and continental competitiveness.

What Mark Yallah said; “I feel honoured to join a big club like Vipers SC. I am ready to give my best and score goals that will help the team make a statement on the continent, win trophies and make the fans proud. This is a new chapter for me, and I want to write my name in the club’s history.”
