UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE
The Date: March 6, 2025
The Contest: Police FC vs. Vipers SC
The Time: 4pm
The Venue: Kavumba Recreation
Vipers SC will be back on the road with a relatively short trip to Kavumba Recreation Center, Wakiso to take on Police FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, this Thursday.
The Venoms are currently top of the table with 43 points accumulated, three ahead of runner-up NEC FC after 18 games.

Meanwhile, Police sit 13th on the 16-team log, having garnered 20 points in 18 matches. They however, sit seven points above relegation.
The Cops have only lost one game at the Kavumba Recreation Center, drawing six and winning two, which makes it a tricky tie on those grounds.

Vipers have won seven Uganda Premier League matches on the bounce, scoring 13 goals and conceding none. Also, we have picked seven successive victories away from home. We last dropped points away on September 26th, 2024, as we shared spoils with Lugazi FC, in a barren stalemate.
The Venoms are unbeaten in 17 games in a row, drawing four in that spell. Their only defeat came on the first day of the season, in a 3-1 loss to NEC.

The most recent meeting between Vipers and Police in the Uganda Premier League was earlier this season, as we won 2-1 at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, thanks to strikes from Allan Okello.
“Its going to be another tricky tie against Police FC. We didn’t have the easiest of games against Mbarara City FC it was a tricky one, remember we had played them after like a week then played them again in the League.” explained Coach Fred Muhumuza.

“We created so many chances and those are positives we can build on. So, different game with quite different challenges. The boys are ready and in good mood. We need to get maximum points in Kavumba though it’s not the easiest of places to visit but we are hopeful”
Vipers and Police have met 20 times previously in the league. We hold the lion’s share of victories at 13, with three stalemates, while Police have won four times.
LAST FOUR MEETINGS AWAY
