The Date: March 30th, 2024
The Contest: URA FC vs. Vipers SC
The Time: 7pm
The Venue: MTN Omondi Stadium

Reigning Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will be raring to bounce back to winning ways when they visit four-time winners URA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.

The Venoms suffered an agonizing 1-0 defeat to KCCA FC last time out, but will now be keen to mount a quick response against the Tax Collectors.

Meanwhile, URA endured defeat in their most recent game as well, as they were thrashed 3-0 by Kitara FC.

Tomorrow’s game will present a chance to Vipers to close the gap at the top, as we currently sit fifth with 35 points in 19 games.

While we have played three games fewer, we still trail leaders Kitara by eight points, underlining the importance of the URA game.

URA, on the other, sit eighth on the 15-team log with 31 points garnered in 21 matches.

The Venoms were 2-0 victors in the first round at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, courtesy of Erick Kambale and Abdu Lumala.
