The Date: February 29th, 2024
The Contest: Vipers SC vs. B.Stars FC
The Time: 7pm
The Venue: St Mary’s Stadium

Following our Uganda Premier League draw with Gaddafi FC last time out, Vipers SC will be looking to get back on track with victory when we host Soltilo Bright Stars SC at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Thursday.

The Venoms were held to a barren stalemate against Gaddafi, but tomorrow presents a perfect opportunity for a turnaround.

Despite playing three games fewer, we still sit third after garnering 31 points, eight adrift of now leaders Kitara FC.

Meanwhile, Bright Stars lie 11th on the log with 22 points in 18 games.

We smiled to a comfortable 2-0 victory in the first half of the season, courtesy of strikes from Karim Watambala and Bright Anukani.

While Vipers holds the lion’s share of victories in this fixture, games between the two are always tightly contested.

Vipers and Soltilo Bright Stars will be meeting for the 21st time in the league with the Venoms superior having won 11 times, drawn 8 with just one loss.

In the previous 20 encounters, we have scored 21 goals against 6.
