Vipers SC captain and winger Milton Karisa has withdrawn from the Uganda Cranes squad is slated tussle it out with Kuwait in an international friendly.
Karisa had been summoned by head coach Paul Put a week ago, but didn’t travel with the rest of the team to Egypt, over a hamstring injury.
The hardworking winger confirmed the injury via his social media handles on Monday.
“I had a minor harmstring injury setback but will be back as soon as possible,” Karisa disclosed.
“I wish a successful friendly game to the Uganda Cranes against Kuwait on Friday.”
Meanwhile, playmaker Bright Anukani, along with central defenders Livingstone Mulondo and Rogers Torach made the final team.
The friendly encounter against Kuwait will be played this Friday in Cairo, Egypt.
