Having played them in 22 previous meetings dating back ten years ago, to the 2012/13 season, it should come as no surprise that we dominated this fixture over the years.
Milton Karisa has played in many of those matches (12 matches in six seasons, scoring six goals) against the Kasasiro Boys, but says it will be a very different Vipers that will line up for the game tomorrow.
“You’ve got to face the best teams in the League early when the opportunity comes,” he said. “They wouldn’t want to play us at this moment according to the situation they are in but that’s what the fixture says. I’m not going to lie when I say that it’s going to be a very difficult game, we know how hard it’s going to be since they will be looking for their first win.
“We’ve just got to look at ourselves and think how we’ve to improve more compared to the seasons we’ve played them recently. We lost 1-0 at their place last season, we can’t be doing stuff like that because we have won from there on many occasions. We’re a lot more resilient this season.
“I can’t really see that happening. We’re a lot more focused and dedicated. Who knows? We’ll see, but we’ll give them a good game, definitely.”
