Vipers SC have wrapped up the off-season transfer business by signing vastly experienced forward Eric Kenzo Kambale on deadline day.
The Democratic Republic of Congo native has penned down a two-year employment contract with the Venoms until atleast the completion of the 2024/25 campaign.
Kambale rounds off a busy end to the window for Vipers after the Venoms unveiled star forward Allan Okello on Thursday.
The striker is only making a return to the league he knows so well after spending four seasons with Express FC (2018/19-2021/22).
He spent last season at Sudan’s El-Merrikh, a side he joined after ending his stint with Express.
Kambale comes in to bolster the Venoms forward line that lost Brazilian forward Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, who left the club .
A one-time Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame Cup winner with Express, Kambale netted 33 goals in 84 appearances during his time at Wankulukuku.
The striker’s numbers only underline his undoubted prowess with the goal in sight.
Kambale becomes our eighth signing of the concluded window after Grant Matsiko, Richard Matovu, David Bagoole, Patrick Mbowa, Mohamed Salem Ekbad, Fumador Asiwome and Allan Okello.
Welcome to Vipers SC, Kambale!
