Head Coach Neiva Leo has named a 21-man squad for our CAF Champions League preliminary round opener with Jwaneng Galaxy FC on Sunday at the Lobatse Sports Complex in Bostwana.
The Venoms’ depart Entebbe International Airport in the wee hours of Friday morning aboard Ethiopian Airlines. They will have a stopover in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia before departing for Gaborone.
Murushid Juuko and Brazilian Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo alias Tinga are two notable absences from our travelling squad for Jwaneng Galaxy FC.
Neither player are fully fit with Juuko just returning from a knee injury while Tinga suffered an ankle injury in our last friendly and are not on the plane to Bostwana.
Ivorian Desire Tety, David Bagoole and Martin Kizza also stay behind in Kitende.
