Three diligent Vipers Sports Club members have been listed in respective categories for the Pilsner Uganda Premier League end of the season awards.
Head coach Alex Isabirye, skipper Milton Karisa and defender Hillary Mukundane have all received nominations for the coveted awards.
After leading Vipers to a sixth Uganda Premier League title, Isabirye has been nominated for the Coach of the Season.
Isabirye will hope to fend off opposition from Maroons FC head coach Mohammed Ssenfuma and former SC Villa coach, Jackson Magera.
Meanwhile, our captain Karisa has received a nomination for Player of the Season, along with Villa’s Charles Bbaale and Maroons’ Simon Tamale.
The hardworking winger was a key pillar for the Venoms as we won the sixth Uganda Premier League in history.
He was brilliant all through as he scored nine goals and added as many assists in a fruitful season.
On the other hand, Mukundane was just as important for the season as he was always reliable in the midst of the vast injuries with the other central defenders.
He managed 18 clean-sheets out of the 20 that Vipers kept in the league, another show of his brilliance.
Mukundane is in the company of Villa defender Gift Fred and Soltilo Bright Stars’ Warren Buule.
The trio have been recognised for their excellent displays in the division this season, and your votes can help them win the accolade!
