Vipers Sports Club will make one more trip in their charge towards the chase for the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.

The Venoms face a tricky opponent in BUL FC on Tuesday at the Fufa Technical Center, Njeru.

Needing to win all their remaining games, skipper Milton Karisa has conceded there is pressure, yet the hunger for victory is higher than ever.

“Yes, of course there’s pressure because with two games to go, you don’t have to make any mistake,” said Karisa to Vipers Media.

Currently, the Venoms are at the summit with 49 points, joint with KCCA FC and SC Villa, but we hold a superior goal difference.

“There’s a little bit of pressure, but not a lot of it because we know what’s at stake,” Karisa added.

“But, I’m very sure my fellow players and I, are very ready and I pray we win the remaining two games so we get crowned champions.”

When the Venoms visit Bul tomorrow, it will be the 25th time both teams are meeting in their 12 year history and looking at the journey statistically, the Venoms are ahead having won 16 times, drawn on 6 occasions and lost just 2, scoring 35 goals against 16 in the previous 24 league encounters between the two clubs.

The statistics corner justifies how we have bossed this fixture over the years.

Team News:

Karim Ndugwa is back ahead of tomorrow’s match while Hilary Mukundane is expected to be fine after suffering a whack on the ankle.

But the match is still too early for winger Abdu Lumala, who is still out nursing an injury.
