The Uganda Premier League competitions committee has pushed further Vipers SC’s away game to Arua Hill SC that was slated for Barifa Stadium on Wednesday.

The bout which has been postponed to a later yet-to-be confirmed date, was meant to be our second against the side this season after we beat them 1-0 in the first leg at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, courtesy of Milton Karisa.

It would also make two matches in the second round for us, following our barren stalemate with Wakiso Giants FC in what was our first, at Kitende.

Both sides have played 15 league matches, but we occupy third with 28 points while the Leopards lie sixth with 23.

Vipers is gearing up for their second leg tie over Tanzanian outfit Simba SC, that is bound for next Tuesday in Dar es Salaam.

We narrowly fell to Simba 1-0 in the first encounter at Kitende last Saturday, but victory and revenge for the Venoms will be on the cards.
