Vipers SC head coach Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has had his November excellence rewarded with a nomination for Coach of the Month, in the Pilsner Monthly Awards.

Robertinho guided the Venoms to six victories in the seven matches played in a month to remember. The other was a one-all stalemate with Wakiso Giants FC.

The Venoms kick-started the month with a 3-0 beating of Maroons FC, courtesy of Milton Karisa and a Yunus Sentamu brace.

We then added two successive 1-0 wins over Gaddafi FC and Arua Hill SC, with Ashraf Mandela and Karisa netting respectively.

Thanks to Sentamu’s hat-trick and a Rogers Adriko own goal, the Venoms thrashed UPDF FC 4-0 in the match that followed.

This was then coupled with a huge 1-0 win away to URA FC, before rounding off the match with a comfortable 2-0 victory over SC Villa, courtesy of Sentamu and Karim Watambala.

It was a fruitful month as Robertinho’s men ascended from 13th to third on the 15-team log in just four weeks.

The tactician is battling it out with KCCA FC’s Morley Byekwaso and Wakiso Giants’ John Luyinda Ayala.
