Vipers SC v TP Mazembe

St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende

Vipers SC captain Milton Karisa has expressed optimism ahead of the CAF Champions League second round game against TP Mazembe on Sunday, at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Karisa, who affirms that it’s one of our biggest games in our history, is also confident that the team can pick a positive result at home in the first leg.

“Its one of the biggest games in Vipers SC history, and we are ready for the big challenge ahead of us on Sunday,” said Karisa to Vipers Media.

“We want to get good results in the first leg and that is a win, to make it an easier game in the second leg in Lubumbashi,” he added.

Karisa was also quick to add that belief has engulfed the entire team, as it has been the message from our head coach Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho.

“He says we are a much stronger team than our opponents, if we put in commitment and believe in ourselves that we must win the game.”

After the first encounter tomorrow, the second will take center stage in a week’s time in Lubumbashi.

The victor over two legs will dive into the Group stages, while the other team will join the CAF Confederation Cup.
