Vipers SC v Olympic Real De Bangui

St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende | 4pm

Vipers Sports Club picked a valuable 3-0 victory over Olympic Real De Bangui in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

Abdu Lumala and Isa Mubiru scored on their debuts while Najib Yiga added the other on a valuable evening at the Stade, Alphonse Massamba Debat in Congo Brazaville.

We started off with a quick surge for an early opener but, Milton Karisa, in the fifth minute missed a chance to break the deadlock.

In the 25th minute, head coach Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho, was forced into an early substitution as Marvin Joseph Youngman walked off injured and replaced by Lumala.

Lumala introduced himself to a dream debut, as he superbly scored our opener in the second minute of the added minutes just before halftime.

Lumala nearly doubled our lead and his second at the restart of the second stanza, but he missed by a whisker.

In the 55th minute, we added a second through youngster Najib Yiga’s brilliantly struck shot.

Another new signing, Mubiru added a third with three minutes on the clock to cap off a scintillating evening in Brazaville.

The Venoms will take on the day’s opponents in a week’s time, on Saturday at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

  1. The report misses the assists of all the goals and the other substitutions unless it was only one substitution of Lumala.

Otherwise thanks so much, good Job
