In our continued appreciations to standout Vipers SC fans, we have offered a special treat to ardent Venom, Rosemary Nantongo, who won the 2022 edition of the CBS FM Sports quiz, christened Bbingwa wama Bbingwa.

Nantongo beat five other contestants at the grand finale hosted at Club Chommerz, Masaka last night to ride home with a brand new motorcycle and a cash prize.

Bbingwa wama Bbingwa winner Rosemary Nantongo shares a light moment with revellers after being declared champion.

In a special way, Vipers will appreciate Nantongo with an additional Ugx: 500,000, for defeating Fadalla Ibrahim, Shafik Kawooya, Abdul Mujabi, Steven Kawooya and Salim Ntege.

This comes after we initially appreciated Clive Elvis Senono, winner of the “Bbingwa Toto 2022,” which is the juvenile version of the competition.

Bbingwa Toto second runners up Clive Elvis Senono.

We have also decided to give our other two finalists (Fadalla and Kawooya) with Ugx.200,000 each, as gratitude for duly representing Vipers.

Each of our representatives will receive a 2022/23 home kit, have lunch with the media and marketing team, have a stadium tour, a photo moment with the players and the Venom Executive.

Vipers SC had three representatives in the Bbingwa wama Bbingwa finals last night in Masaka.

They will also receive tickets for our Uganda Premier League opener, a bout against Soltilo Bright Stars on September 30th, 2022.

About Bbingwa wama Bbingwa

The quiz, a local and international sports disciplines competition, has been running for 17 years on 89.2 CBS FM.

This year, it has had more than 50 contestants, with Nantongo emerging the ultimate victor.

She becomes only the third lady to win it after The Late Rehema Nakabuye (2005) – a Vipers SC fan, and SC Villa’s Annet Namakula in 2019.

The Late Rehemah Nakabuye was the first lady to win the sports quiz on it’s debut in 2005.

At the final, contenders were personally picking the questions after a spin, unlike in the previous rounds where a group of panelists did the asking.
