Vipers SC 4-0 Soltilo Bright Stars FC
In our continuous preparations for the season ahead, we took on and beat Uganda Premier League side, Soltilo Bright Stars FC 4-0 on Tuesday.
Yunus Sentamu and Ibrahim Orit came up with a brace each on a fruitful afternoon at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
The Venoms enjoyed a dominant opening half that had them strike three past their visitors.
Sentamu opened his pre-season account with a swerving effort past goalkeeper, Derrick Were in 17th minute, to break the deadlock.
Ten minutes later, Ibrahim Orit doubled our lead with a first-time snap shot, after being superbly set up by midfield prodigy, Najib Yiga.
With three minutes to end the first stanza, we added a third through Sentamu, this time brilliantly dispatching off an Olivier Osomba superb through ball.
Robertinho made a trio of changes at halftime, with custodian Alfred Macumu Mudekereza, Isa Mubiru and Murushid Juuko coming on for Fabien Mutombora, Disan Galiwango and Rodgers Torach respectively.
Later on, our new pacy winger Abdu Lumala was introduced for Karim Watambala in the 72nd minute.
Four minutes later, we added a fourth, with the rampant Orit scoring from outside the box, following a well laid ball by Sentamu.
A minute later, Robertinho had Bashir Asiku and forward Abubakar Lawal come on for Osomba and the brilliant Sentamu.
