Olympic Real De Bangui v Vipers SC

September 9th – 11th, 2022 | Bangui

As we embark on our journey in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League, we will take on Central African Republic giants, Olympic Real De Bangui in the first preliminary round.

The Venoms will be the guests in the first leg between September 09th-11th, 2022.

The return leg will then take place between September 16th-18th, which is a week after the first, at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The victor on aggregate will then take on Democratic Republic of Congo side, TP Mazembe in the second round.

The first leg of the second round will happen between October 7th – 9th 2022, with the second leg to be played between October 14th – 16th.

Our immediate opponents, Olympic Real De Bangui won the 2021/22 league trophy, but are also 12-time winners.

Vipers has never played against Olympic in the past, and the match will provide the perfect opportunity to create history in this fixture.

The game in Central African Republic could prove emotional for our star forward Cesar Manzoki, who plays for the country’s National team.
