Vipers Sports Club are taking a large group to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania as Robertinho Oliviera has named a 21-man travelling party ahead of the friendly with Young Africans SC.
Saturday’s match, which kicks off at 16:00 EAT and is live on Azam TV, is the latest key part of preparation for the upcoming 2022/23 football season that kicks off next month.
It is among the many pre-season fixtures lined up for Robertinho’s Venoms, with the CAF Champions League, StarTimes Uganda Premier League, Pilsner Super 8, Fufa Super Cup and Stanbic Uganda Cup all still to come.
The party flies out of Entebbe International Airport on Thursday afternoon and is expected to land at Julius Nyerere International Airport in the evening (4:30pm).
Paul Mucureezi and Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye miss the trip through injury, while Abdu Lumala is still on the road to recovery from a hamstring problem picked up while in a friendly match.
