Vipers Sports Club head coach Robertinho Oliviera and midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga have been nominated for the Pilsner Coach and Player of the Month for May.
Robertinho guided the Venoms to three wins and one draw out of four during the month of May, with wins over Onduparaka FC, Wakiso Giants FC, Police FC and a goalless draw against SC Villa.
Bobosi Byaruhanga has been in fine form for the Venoms, netting three goals and two assists through the month of May.
He scored a beauty, a goal of the season contender against Police FC as we were crowned 2021/22 Uganda Premier League Champions at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
He also netted a dramatic long range opener against Wakiso Giants FC at Wakissha grounds and he then scored again against the Cops to give us an incredible 5-0 win on the last day of the League.
Bobosi was named Pilsner Man of the Match twice; against Wakiso Giants FC and Police FC in the month of May.
Robertinho has already won the Coach of the Month Award three times already this season, back in December, March and April.
