STARTIMES UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE
Vipers Vs Express
Friday 29th April 2022
St Marys Stadium, 4:00pm, Live on Sanyuka TV
Vipers SC have collected 19 victories in 25 StarTimes Uganda Premier League games this season. One more win will do.
If Vipers beat Express FC at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, they will clinch a fifth league title with four games to spare.

Coach Roberto Oliviera’s side have 61 points, 14 more than second-place KCCA FC. The maximum KCCA can accumulate is 62.
Even a draw could do as Vipers currently have a superior goal difference of +39. The 13-time league champions KCCA have +18.

In case Vipers picked one point from their remaining five games, KCCA would need a 21-goal swing to overhaul the Venoms for the title.
Fresh from qualifying for the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi final with a 3-1 over Wakiso Giants, Vipers pursuit of a League and Cup double continues this Friday when we host Express FC.
- Vipers and Express will be meeting for the 33rd time in Uganda’s league history since 2006 when the Venoms joined the top flight division. We have won 14, drawn 11 and lost 7 with a return of 38 goals against 23.

“We are definitely ready to win but we don’t need to come with excitement that we have already won the trophy yet we haven’t. So, we need to come when we are ready for carson, have the aggressiveness that we usually have, the attitude of the players really matters alot in the game tomorrow” ~ Midfielder Paul Mucureezi ahead of tomorrow’s game.
Team News:
Yunus Sentamu returns to the squad having missed our last League game against Gaddafi FC through suspension.
Siraje Sentamu who was stretched off in our Sunday Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinal tie against Wakiso Giants FC is back and in contention for tomorrow’s game.
Head Coach Robertinho will literally have a full strength side to pick from the starting XI.
