Vipers Sports Club have been drawn away to Wakiso Giants FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter-finals.

The tie was one of four drawn out this Wednesday morning at Fufa House in Mengo.

The Venoms reached the last eight by beating Fufa Big League side Kataka FC 3-0, following the previous away wins over Kigezi Homeboyz and Kalongo FC in the round of 64 and 16 respectively.

The quarter-final ties will be played between April 24th and 27th. Robertinho’s men can take confidence from the club’s record against Wakiso Giants in recent seasons.

Vipers SC has won the Stanbic Uganda Cup twice. The first triumph came in 2016, defeating Onduparaka FC at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium.

The second successful story came last year when the Venoms overcame BUL FC at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.
