STARTIMES UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE

Match: Vipers SC v Soltilo Bright Stars FC
Date: March 2nd, 2022
Time: 4pm | Live On TV
Venue: St Mary’s stadium

Paul Kiwanuka is a face that many at Vipers SC will know from the recent past. He was an assistant coach under Fred Kajoba before becoming caretaker during the 2020/21 season.

He is now in his second spell at Soltilo Bright Stars FC who visit St. Mary Stadium, Kitende on Wednesday for a StarTimes Uganda Premier League clash with Vipers SC.

The Venoms have a chance to open a four-point gap at the top of the standings over KCCA FC with victory against a plucky side who are currently at the wrong end of the table.

In the first round meeting at Kavumva Recreation Grounds, a lone Yunus Sentamu strike gave Vipers SC a 1-0 victory. That’s an indicator that this will be another close game for Coach Robertinho Oliviera.

Looking ahead to the game, the Brazilian tactician said: “We have prepared well for tomorrow’s match. And l know the opponent having played him twice but we are going out to fight for three points.”

Vipers and Soltilo Bright Stars will be meeting for the 17th time in the league with the Venoms superior having won 9 times, drawn 7 and without any loss in the previous 16 encounters, we have scored 17 goals against 4.
