Midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga is in the squad as Vipers SC visit Kalongo United FC in Saturday’s Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 game in Agago district. 

Byaruhanga has been away from the first team through injury. He has missed the last six games since January 4 when he last featured against Arua Hill SC in Barifa stadium, Arua. 

Playing in the Northern regional league, Kalongo United FC will be an unknown quantity for defending champions Vipers SC.  

They beat Adjumani TC 1-0 to qualify for the round of 32. We overcame Kigezi HomeBoyz FC 1-0 in Kabale to get here thanks to Yunus Sentamu’s lone strike in the 84th minute. 

Team News:

Allan Kayiwa and Karim Watambala return to the team after missing the trip to Kabale through illness. 

Cesar Manzoki is rested for this clash against Kalongo United FC to allow him fully recover from an ankle injury. 

Hilary Mukundane is capped tied having featured for his former club Mbarara City FC at the round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup. 

Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye and Bright Anukani are all out nursing hamstrings but started rehabilitation process on Tuesday this week.
