STARTIMES UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE
The Date: February 09, 2022
The Contest: Bul FC v Vipers SC
The Time: 2:00pm (Live Sanyuka TV)
The Venue: Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe
We travel to Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe to face Bul FC in a bid to consolidate our place at the top.
This is the first match of the second round having finished the first atop on 33 points, one ahead of KCCA FC.
Each of the next 15 games will feel like a final for Coach Robertinho’s charges.
A game against Bul FC will be a tough one considering that the Jinja side picked a point with a late equaliser at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in the first round.
Vipers’ first loss to the BIDCO Uganda Limited-sponsored team was back in the 2013/14 Uganda Premier League season when the cooking oil manufacturers defeated us 2-1 at Kakindu Stadium.
But aside another solitary loss (a 1-0 defeat in the 2015/16 season) and a handful of draws, Vipers have built a reputation of dominating encounters between the two sides with the last result being won 8-1 by Kitende-based side on September 26, 2021 in Njeru during the Stanbic Uganda Cup final.
When Vipers visit Bul tomorrow, it will be the 22nd time both teams are meeting in their eleven year history and looking at the journey statistically, the Venoms are ahead having won 13 times, drawn on 6 occasions and lost just 2, scoring 27 goals against 13 in the previous 20 league encounters between the two clubs.
The statistics corner justifies how we have bossed this fixture over the years.
Head-To-Head

Team News:
Cesar Manzoki is back after recovering from an ankle problem he picked in our last first round game last week against SC Villa but will face a late fitness test.
But the match has come a little too early for midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga, who is still out nursing an injury.
New signing Hilary Mukundane makes the 18-man squad to face Bul FC tomorrow. This is the defender’s first time in the match day squad since his move from Mbarara City FC.
