Having waited for months to host SC Villa, Vipers SC will get a crack at them on Wednesday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The game has been rescheduled thrice. The budding rivalry will now come to life with Vipers seeking to win in order to assume league leadership from KCCA.

The Venoms lie second on 30 points, one behind KCCA FC with one game to play to hit the halfway mark in the 30-game league season.

Matches between the two rivals are always tense basing on all previous engagements therefore St Mary’s stadium won’t be an ideal place for the faint hearted as its bound to be explosive again.

Bobosi Byaruhanga and Ibrahim Orit will miss tomorrow’s game as they are still nursing injuries sustained from National duty. 

Apart from the longer term injuries, they are all in. No Lawrence Tezikya, No Umaru Kyebatala – the rest are available. A big squad of 18 players are available to face SC Villa.
