Vipers Sports Club are delighted to announce the return of Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye to the club penning down a 3 year contract.

The midfielder who terminated his contract with Police FC on mutual consent after his 5 goals and 7 assists for the Cops in the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League (UPL) season returns to the side with the weight of expectations, however plays it down in his own words.

“I am now a changed player.” said Zaga. “I have seen and learned a lot during my time away from Vipers SC and this time I come back a changed person with a different mentality.”

When asked about his opinion on having to ward of competition in an already stacked department, he said;

“I know Vipers SC is a team of pressure and competition and l am ready to compete for a place in the first eleven. And l surely know l will make it.”

It should be noted that Zaga who joined us from our main feeder side (St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende) in 2016 was loaned out in 2019 to Express FC, then returned but was later released the following year as he asked to join Police FC.

Welcome Back Zaga!!!
