STANBIC UGANDA CUP – SEMIFINAL
Tuesday Result
Police FC 0-2 Vipers SC
Cesar Manzoki scored a brace as we edged Police FC to storm the final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
It was the perfect start for our new coach Roberto Oliveira Gonçalves known as Robertinho and his assistant Marcelo Cardoso in the dugout at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.

Manzoki broke the deadlock in the 20th minute as he breezed past Police defender Hassan Mohammad to give us the lead.
The Congolese forward then doubled the lead, scoring past Tom Ikara after being set up by Bobosi Byaruhanga in the 52nd minute.

Police had some lively moments with the introduction of Brian Muruli Mayanja in the final stanza.
Midfielder and captain Tonny Mawejje had an effort kiss the wood-work as they pressed forward for a goal that never came.

Our substitutes Dan Sserunkuma and Karim Watambala also had chances missed when they had shots off the cross bar.
We will now take on the winner between BUL FC and Express FC who play on Thursday in the final on Sunday.
