Match: MYDA FC v Vipers SC
Date: April 28, 2021
Venue: King George IV Memorial Stadium
Time: 4pm

Vipers head coach Fred Kajoba believes there will be plenty at stake when his side locks horns with relegation-threatened MYDA FC on Wednesday evening in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at the King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo.

The encounter comes 72 hours after the Venoms dropped three precious points at home against Express FC and subsequently relinquished their top place on the table to title rivals URA FC.

Prior to that loss, they were held to a frustrating draw by Wakiso Giants FC and have not scored any goal since beating Kitara FC 3-0 almost a fortnight ago.

The two sides come into this fixture with different targets, Vipers SC will be seeking to complete a double over MYDA FC and keep their title hopes alive while the hosts will be out to avenge their away humiliating 7-0 loss and also fight for their first home win.

Even though the visitors are beaming with confidence, Kajoba who will be keen to improve his side’s away record, is prepared for a tough match at the King George IV Memorial Stadium.

“The attitude is good and morale is high. We all know what is at stake here. Lets not be fooled by their position on the table, this will not be a stroll in the park. They will definitely be out for revenge, but for us, our aim is to get a positive result,” explained Kajoba.

Team News:
