All roads will lead to the St Mary’s stadium-Kitende when the StarTimes Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers SC host KCCA FC in a classic encounter which will go a long way in determining who finishes ahead of the other as at end of the first round.
Both teams have been the front runners in Uganda’s top flight division having shared the previous seven league titles amongst themselves with three for Vipers and four for KCCA hence whoever takes the day, tilts trophy chances in own favour.

Vipers counts 1 win, 2 draws and without a loss with a total of 4 goals against 3 however overall, the Venoms will be hosting KCCA FC for the 16th time.

- Vipers first ever victory over the Kasasiro lads was registered on September 28, 2008 in a 3-1 win at Nakivubo stadium after 6 fruitless attempts from our debut season in the top flight division. - The Venoms are looking for an eighth consecutive home win this season as they command a 100% record having won all the previous seven against Kitara FC, MYDA FC, Police FC, UPDF FC, BUL FC, Soltilo Bright Stars FC and SC Villa respectively.
- Vipers are currently occupying second position on the league log with 30 points out of the 14 matches played while KCCA are languishing in 4th position, 3 points behind the Venoms having garnered 27 points from the same number of games.
- Vipers suffered a loss in a 2-1 defeat on the road against table leaders URA FC in the last fixture at the Arena of Visions while KCCA FC came from a goal down to draw 1-1 against Police as they kept within touching distance with the Venoms.
