Vipers players have resumed training on Monday following the Christmas break as they continue preparations for the Star Times Uganda Premier League which returns next month.

The Venoms broke off camp for the festive season last month and are back at the St Mary’s stadium.

The lads started with a light gym session at the club gym and are expected to intensify and integrate their drills in the coming days.

Except for the eight players that are on national duty with the Uganda Cranes in Cameroon for the coming African Nations championships (CHAN) which starts this Saturday, the rest of the team was present and enjoyed the day’s practice.

Vipers will host UPDF football club on February 13, as they seek to retain the league title.

Fred Kajoba’s side have collected seven points, winning two (2) and drawing one from three games.
