A total of eight players from Vipers SC have earned a call to the Uganda National Team in preparation for the forthcoming Africa Nations Championship (Chan).
Striker Muhmmad Shaban who just returned from injury and played our opening three league fixtures is part of the team summoned.

The lethal forward scored on his debut in the one all draw against Wakiso Giants FC and assisted Dan Sserunkuma for the winning goal against Kitara FC this week.
Aziz Kayondo who recently was part of the Uganda U20 National Team that won the CECAFA U20 Zonal Qualifiers has also been summoned.

In the same breath, midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga who also was part of the U20 team has also earned his first call to the Senior National Team.
The other Venoms on the list named by Cranes coach Johnathan Mckinstry include skipper Halid Lwaliwa, Paul Willa, Milton Karisa, Ibrahim Orit and Abdul Karim Watambala.

The team entered residential camp yesterday (Sunday, December 20) and officially start preparations today (December 21).
