Al Hilal Club v Vipers SC

Omdurman stadium | 4pm

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed match officials that will take charge of our return leg against Al Hilal this weekend.

The Venoms will travel to Sudan’s capital Khartoum to face Al Hilal Club in the return leg of the preliminary round in the CAF Champions League.

A quartet of referees from Burundi will officiate the game and these include centre referee Thierry Nkurunziza.

The Venoms will seek to overturn the first leg 1-0 defeat on Sunday in Sudan against Al Hilal Club.

He will be assisted by Herve Kakunze and Gustave Baguma as first and second assistant referees respectively.

Georges Gatogato also from Burundi will be the fourth official while Sebit Librato Begi Rassas from South Sudan has been appointed as the match commissioner.

Vipers SC will seek to overturn the first leg defeat and advance to the next round. Al Hilal won the first leg 1-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

The team is expected to fly out on Thursday and coach Fred Kajoba is optimistic that the team will perform better in the return leg.
