Fufa Juniors League
Sunday’s Result
Vipers SC JT 6-0 Proline FC JT
Vipers Sports Club Junior Team registered their first season victory in the Fufa Juniors League with a resounding 6-0 win over Proline Soccer Academy.
This was the first U17’s match at St Mary’s stadium this 2019/20 season and what a better way to be back home.
Andrew Kawooya condemned the visitors in the 13th minute and has now scored in two back to back games after netting last weekend against SC Villa.
Sudais Kakooza scored a brace thanks to Alex Kizito’s assists before Travis Mutyaba and Ismail Ali added the other to make sure we go into the break with a commanding lead.
We could have convicted Proline to more misery had all the chances created in the second stanza been converted.
Kakooza headed his effort wide before Fahad Jumbe, Yasin Owane and Moses Didi all who came off the bench failed to put their efforts past the line.
The visitors didn’t get open goal scoring opportunities as Vipers skipper Derrick Kato and Rhovan Kasaka accorded them no space in the box. However Proline captain Alpha Ssali had pulled one back but was ruled offside.
We now move to eight points from three games having faced Mbarara City and SC earlier.
Our next game will be at home against BUL FC Junior Team next Sunday.
