Haild Lwaliwa was left with mixed emotions following Wednesday’s goalless draw with SC Villa.
The team captain spoke about the match to Vipers Media after the 0-0 draw in Namboole stadium.
“As a team I thought we played very well in the second half, we put in a shift and I thought we created chances throughout the game,” Lwaliwa said.
“I think we’ve come off with mixed emotions. We know that Namboole isn’t an easy place to come but we have won here before, so when you come off the pitch feeling you could’ve won but get a draw, it’s not a bad result.
“We had chances to score but the ball wouldn’t go in.”
“We rode the storm and created our own chances, we put our own authority on the game as well. We came off feeling like we could’ve got something.”
