There were two Venoms in action on Saturday, as Ibrahim Kiyemba and Tom Masiko made debuts for Wakiso Giants in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League during their meeting with KCCA FC.
Both Kiyemba and Masiko played 90 minutes as the Purple Sharks were beaten 1-0 by the ‘Kasasiro Boys’ on a very rainy afternoon in Lugogo.
A goal from Allan Okello in the 15th minute handed the hosts the three points.

Elsewhere, Steven Mukwala didn’t feature for Maroons FC as they went down 3-0 to URA FC while Dan Birikwalira wasn’t fully fit to make his Kyetume FC debut as they beat SC Villa 1-0 on Thursday.
Our forward Joseph Janjali couldn’t make his debut for Bright Stars on Friday as his team lost 3-1 to Vipers SC because according to the rules, loanees are not permitted to play against the team which holds their registration.
