Our new signing Fahad Bayo did not take any time to announce his arrival at the club as he played a key role in guiding the Venoms to Pilsner Super 8 Cup success.

The robust forward netted a brace on his debut as Vipers SC defeated KCCA FC on Sunday at Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku to lift the pre-season crown.

Fahad Bayo tormenting the KCCA rearguard throughout the game on Sunday. He has set a target of scoring as many goals as possible this new season 2019/20.

Bayo who joined us from Zambia’s Buildcon FC has set targets as our new season gets under tomorrow. He believes there is a lot that the club wants to achieve this season and must work hard to make sure the set targets are fulfilled.

“First of all I’m delighted to join a great team like Vipers SC with good players. This is a club with ambitions of being successful and l have to work hard to make sure the set targets are realised.”

“As a team, we want to win trophies and be a competitive unit. Therefore, to achieve that, we must work hard.” Bayo added.

He went ahead to set a personal target of scoring in double figures in the 2019/20 season in a bid to return to the National team.

“My target is to score as many goals as possible. This therefore means I must score in double figures because I want to return to the Cranes.”

Vipers open the StarTimes Uganda Premier League season away against Bright Stars FC tomorrow (Friday).
