There have been several ins and outs at Vipers SC this upcoming 2019/20 season, with Farouk Musisi and Fahad Bayo being the last additions at the club.

This guide keeps track of all the confirmed incomings and outgoings as Edward Golola reshapes his squad.

The Venoms have signed nine players in this transfer window, with last acquisitions Musisi and Bayo joining Muhammad Shaban, Allan Kayiwa, Paul Willa, Rashid Toha, Siraje Ssentamu, Henry Kitegenyi and Denis Mwemezi as the new men at the St Mary’s Stadium ahead of the new season.

There has also been some promotions of youngsters; Karim Watambala, Ahmed Amayo, Denis Kiggundu, Jacob Ocao, Richard Basangwa, Najib Yiga from St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School (SMASK) to the senior side.

Youngster karim Watambala has already impressed on his debut winning two Man of The Match (MoTM) awards in the Pilsner Super 8.

But while there is excitement among Venoms supporters at the recent arrivals, there have also been a number of players saying farewell to the club and others loaned out to get playing time.

Team captain Taddeo Lwanga was among those, with the Cranes midfielder moving to Egypt to join Tanta Sports Club.

Moses Waiswa also bade farewell to St Mary’s Stadium after more than one season with the club, with the Cranes midfielder moving to South Africa’s Supersport United.

Karim Nizigiyimana also left on a free transfer, joining Kenya’s Wazito FC following his release from the club, Yayo Lutimba, Noah Wafula, and Davis Kasirye were all released by the club too.

Burundian international Karim Nizigiyimana headed back to Kenya to join Wazito FC.

Meanwhile, the first loan move away from Vipers was when Duncan Sseninde made a temporary switch to Wakiso Giants FC.

He was followed by defender Ibrahim Kiyemba to the Purple Sharks on a season-long loan. And Tom Masiko made it a trio departing on a temporary basis heading to the Wakiso based club.

Defender Henry Katongole moved to Police FC on a season-long loan while goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya’s loan move will be communicated before the transfer window closes on August 31st.

On August 26th, forward Steven Mukwala completed a season-long loan move to Maroons FC and, a day later, Joseph Janjali, Dan Birikwalira and Dickens Okwir penned loan deals to Bright Stars FC, Kyetume FC and Paidah Black Angels FC respectively.
