Fahad Bayo is looking forward to winning titles, a target he set once he made up his mind to join Vipers.
The striker believes he has linked up with the best club in the country after trading life at Buildcon FC in Zambia for that at Vipers.
“I made this decision to join Vipers because I know I can attain my goals at this special club.
Fahad Bayo, Vipers SC new forward
It was a tough decision to leave Zambia but I felt the need to re-establish myself in the Ugandan league hence the decision to sign for Vipers.”
The former Proline player officially became a Venom after inking a deal that will keep him at Kitende until 2021.
In an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, the player disclosed how he had always dreamt of playing at St Mary’s stadium.
“My last game in the Uganda Premier League was a 3-0 defeat to Vipers in 2018. Despite the loss, the atmosphere was good and returning here as a Venom is the best thing for me.”
His speed, power and eye for goal are attributes that make him highly rated.

Bayo played for Proline FC for close to four years before moving to Ndola in Zambia to where he joined Buildcon FC.
While at Buildcon, he scored five goals and helped Buildcon book a place in the 2019-2020 CAF Confederations Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
Vipers hugely depended on Dan Sserunkuma to score goals last season but Bayo’s arrival is timely. The player now wants to repay the faith of those who signed him.
“We want to be the best this time round and we can only achieve this fete by scoring goals and winning games.”
He joins Denis Mwemezi, Henry Kitegenyi, Allan Kayiwa and Muhammed Shaban as the forwards who have been added to the club in the on-going transfer window.
