Taddeo Lwanga is leaving the club after coming to the end of his 2 year contract.

Lwanga joined us from SC Villa at the start of the 2017/18 season, during which time he established himself as an integral part of the team and proved to be one of the most technically-gifted players in the Uganda Premier League.

His importance to us was emphasised when he guided the team to the 2017/18 League title, a quarterfinal slot in the Cecafa Kagame Cup and Uganda Cup runners up. The skipper also played a big role as we finished second in the League last season.

Head coach Edward Golola said: “Taddeo has been a tremendous player for this football club on and off the pitch, his consistency and work ethic has got him this far. I would like to personally thank Taddeo for everything he has done here at Vipers SC.”

Taddeo Lwanga sealing his move to Egypt’s Tanta SC last night.

Vipers SC would like to wish Taddeo Lwanga the best of luck at Tanta Sports Club (Egypt) where he signed a three year contract and thank him for all of his efforts for the Venoms during his time at the club.
