It was one of those memorable moments when our marketing team headed by the director, Simon Ssekankya hosted a team from our sponsors Hima Cement led by Moses Kebba.

On arrival at the stadium, the new marketing and innovations boss at Hima was vividly excited on seeing the kind of facility Vipers has – the magnificent St Mary’s Stadium (the home of Vipers Sports club).

A stadium tour led by the stadium manager, the marketing and media team took place and courtesy visits were done to the CEO, the technical director, the coaching stuff and the Vipers’ Burrow which is the official merchandise shop of Vipers stuff.

After the stadium tour a brief meeting took place and among other things that were discussed is a review of the previous 2 years where Hima Cement has been the official shirt sponsor of Vipers SC, the kind of milestones achieved in the previous 2 years, the challenges and how the relationship can be further strengthened.

“We would like to extend our sincere thank you to Hima Cement who 2 years ago were coming into football for the first time but trusted us and dived into this relationship,” explained Ssenkakya.

“I must say it has been an extremely exciting relationship and I have no doubt the management, staff and all the fans plus our counter parts at Hima are all eagerly waiting for the good news of contact renewal with bigger and better packages that will come with the new contract extension.”

The new Hima Marketing boss was also equally looking forward to a conclusion of the the new contract.
“It’s indeed a glorious opportunity for us to partner with such a great club, 2 big brands will undoubtedly take each other to even greater heights,” said Kebba.

The meeting was among others attended by Charles Mugasa, the Hima Marketing and sponsorship boss, Wycliff Luyombya, the Brand Manager Vipers and Robert Ssentongo, Vipers Sponsorships and Promotions Manager.
