Rashid Toha said he is keen on a new challenge upon sealing Vipers move from Onduparaka Football Club.
The towering center back joined his new teammates for practice this week where he was unveiled by Michael Nam Ouma, Vipers head coach.
“I am excited to join this wonderful club, this is a huge stride in my career. Am ambitious and focused on winning titles here at Vipers,” said Toha after his unveiling.

Toha officially became a Venom after penning down a three year deal ending his four year relationship with the Caterpillars. He was the Onduparaka captain, where he played between 2014 – 2018/19.
The former Onduparaka skipper added; “This is the right place for me to be after many years at my former club, it is a really good feeling.”
His aerial prowess, art in striking the dead balls and good game reading place him high among the best and young defenders in the domestic league.

With Geofrey Wasswa out with a knee problem, Toha’s arrival is welcome and timely hence joins Halid Lwaliwa, Livingstone Mulondo and Jacob Ocao as the central defenders Ouma hopes to use next season.
Paul Willa, Siraje Ssentamu and Allan Kayiwa are the other new players that we have so far added to our squad in this transfer window.
Rashid Toha interestingly becomes the tallest player at Vipers pushing Bashir Sekagya and Tito Okello to second and third place respectively.
