Vipers JT 6-1 Maroons JT
The Junior team avenged their earlier loss by hitting six past the Maroons Junior Team.
Vipers JT showed early intent with a 7th minute strike by midfielder Nsereko Muhammed just inside the area from a nicely weighed cutback from Aziz Kayondo to make it 1-0.
Ivan Asaba then added a second in the 36th minute when he was played through by Iga Najib to create a one on one with the goalkeeper and Asaba made no mistake.
In the 41st minute, striker Sam Ssenyonjo added a third when he capitalised on a poor goal kick by the Maroons JT goalkeeper to make it 3-0.
The game went into the breather 3-0 in favor of the Junior Venoms.
At the stroke of the 51st minute, Asaba added his second of the day with a nicely curled shot from outside the area to make it 4-0.
Captain Aziz Kayondo got cautioned in the 57th minute for continuous foul play before powering a powerful shot past the Maroons JT custodian to make it 5-0 in the 70th minute.
Three minutes later, Najib Iga who was brilliant all evening got his goal from a counter attack to close the scoring for the Venoms at 6 goals.
Maroons JT got a consolation goal through Adima Hillary from a late penalty in the 85th minute after a foul by goalkeeper Mugolofa in the 6 yard box.
We now face KCCA SA in a do-or-die game on Sunday at the Startimes Stadium, Lugogo.
