Vipers Sports Club pair of Taddeo Lwanga and Moses Waiswa have been handed a golden opportunity to fight for places in Uganda Cranes’ squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
According to the Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastian Desabre’s list released this morning, Lwanga and Waiswa are among the eleven midfielders who have been penciled in the 28-man team.

The duo was part of the team that helped the nation qualify for its second straight Africa Cup of Nations finals and will have a chance to make their maiden appearance in Egypt if selected in the final squad.
The 28 players fly out on May 27th for residential training in Abu Dhabi but five will be dropped before the rest of the team heads to Egypt.

The others include former Venoms like roving right back Nico Wadada Wakiro, Faruku Miya, Luwagga, Godfrey Walusimbi, Hassan Wasswa, Murushid Jjuuko.
