Wednesday’s Result
Paidha 0-1 Vipers
A first half goal from Brian Nkuubi was the difference as Michael Nam Ouma’s side defeated Paidha Black Angels FC at the Bar Okoro stadium in Zombo on Wednesday evening.
The midfielder slotted in the ball from Ibrahim Tembo’s long throw in in the 18th minute piling more misery to the already relegated Paidha side.
The hosts were toothless in attack, causing the Venoms few problems as they eventually succumbed to a home defeat and ending their stay in the top flight .

Ouma made a few changes in the line-up from the team that beat Police FC last week with Tadeo Lwanga, Ibrahim Tembo and Yayo Lutimba all coming in.
However, the man who made the difference was Nkuubi who has been in good form for Vipers of late.
The former Kira Young skipper has netted thrice in the last five games for Vipers and five in 2019. He perhaps could has scored more had he been given enough playing time at the start of the season.

Vipers beat Paidha Black Angels 2-1 in the reverse fixture at the St Mary’s stadium last November with goals from Tito Okello and Geoffrey Wasswa.
The victory was Vipers’ sixth away from home after picking maximum points off Maroons, Nyamityobora, SC Villa, Bul FC and Police FC.

Meanwhile, the Venoms will be hoping to complete a double over Bul FC who they host in their final league game this Saturday at Kitende.
