Defender Halid Lwaliwa has been named in the final Uganda Cranes squad that will play against Tanzania in the final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game.
Lwaliwa despite not featuring in the Cranes regional tour game against Kampala region on Saturday had already impressed coach Sebastien Desabre in training.
The composed defender is one of the ten locally based players that will join the foreign based legion in Cairo, Egypt for a training camp before facing Tanzania.
He joins teammates Moses Waiswa and captain Taddeo Lwanga who have been regulars on the national team.
The other players part of the team include Godfrey Walusimbi, Hassan Wasswa, Allan Kyambadde, Allan Okello, Patrick Kaddu, Saddam Juma and Timothy Awany.
The team departs for Egypt on Sunday evening aboard Ethiopian Airlines where they will have a training camp before leaving Cairo on Friday (March 22) for Dar es Salaam.
