It was a one sided affair as Vipers JT hit Police FC Armless Brigade for five.

The Vipers JT youngsters started on the front foot with continuous waves of attack which saw Ssenoga Muhammad and Najib Yiga come close to scoring in the earliest stages of the game, and it was not long before Ivan ‘Di Maria’ Asaba dispossessed his opponent and fired in the first goal for Vipers from just outside the edge of the 18 yard box in the 8th minute, then the floodgates opened.

Vipers continued pressing on with Ssenoga, Iga (hit the cross bar) and Andrew Kawooya coming close again amidst prolonged periods of possession by the Vipers youngsters.

Police FC JT then enjoyed a moment of possession which almost ended into a goal for them but the effort went well wide, momemts later, Najib Iga hit the cross bar a second time in the 36th minute.

Team captain Aziz Kayondo made a dashing run into the opponents box and was fouled resulting into a penalty for Vipers JT. Najib Iga slotted in well to make it 2-0 for the hosts in the 39th minute.

In the 41st minute, Andrew Kawooya sent a thunderous free kick into the top corner from over 30 yards to make it 3-0 just before the halftime break.

Ten minutes into the second half, Muhammad Ssenoga was replaced with Tony Tulituuka, and the sub played intelligently to play onside an in-transit Alex Kizito who layed a low cross for Najib Iga to tap-in his second of the evening in the 56th minute to make it 4-0.

Moments later, captain Kayondo was replaced with Yasin Owane with the fans applauding him for his spirited performance. Najib Iga then completed his hattrick in the 64th minute after a Police FC JT youngster failed to clear the ball which left him with only the keeper to beat and he made no mistake to complete the 5-0 rout of Police Armless Brigade.

With about 15 minutes to play, Aristote Rutuga and Ivan Asaba were withdrawn for Kirunda Andew and Muhammad Nsereko respectively , but they had no much to do as the game was already done and dusted.

The result means that the Vipers JT youngsters move to 32 points and remain second just 5 points behind table leaders KCCA JT who have played a game more.
