Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a set of match officials from West Africa to take charge of the return leg between Vipers SC and CS Sfaxien in the Total CAF Confederation Cup.
The return leg for the playoff stage is slated to take place on Sunday, 20th January at Taieb Mhiri Stadium-Sfax in Tunisia.
Ghanian referee Daniel Laryea will be man to take charge of proceedings on the pitch and he will be assisted by two match officials from Nigeria.
Abel Baba and Samuel Pwadutakam both from Nigeria will be the first and second assistant referee respectively.
It should be noted that the first leg played last week at St. Mary’s stadium was also handled by a trio from West Africa (Nigeria exact).
The game ended in a goalless draw and the Venoms will make the trip to Tunisia hoping for a good result.
The winner on aggregate will progress to the group stage of this year’s Total CAF Confederation Cup.
