Head Coach Javier Martinez Espinoza

Our head coach Javier Martinez Espinoza discussed a variety of topics including tomorrow’s game against CS Constantine, Taddeo Lwanga’s injury and goalkeeper Derrick Ochan.

About tomorrow’s game…

It’s an important match for the team, we have prepared very well and we are excited for tomorrow’s game. We know that it’s victory or never and I have much confidence that we will go through.

On losing 1-0 away…

It’s not easy to play away, CS Constantine have one of the biggest league in Africa. It was an excellent result for us because we still have the opportunity.

What he expects from the visitors…

They will be very aggressive, they are good on the ball, but we are not scared – we are going for the victory nothing else.

…Taddeo Lwanga’s injury…

He limped off on Wednesday when we played Bul FC and was on the sidelines as the team trained today. So, l will wait for the Doctor’s word if Taddeo will feature tomorrow.

What the win against Bul meant…

It was good to win away (Bul), because we regained confidence. It gave my strikers Dan Mzeeyi Sserunkuma and Tito Okello self belief.

…about goalkeeper Derrick Ochan…

Ochan is a good goalkeeper. Me and my technical team plus played believe in him. And he got confidence away when we played CS Constantine and make his league debuts on Wednesday against BUL FC.

  1. However much that there are few challenges , like the injuries , but to me was impressed with the performance that the lads put in Aligeria as those guys have played the tournament for some years which is not the same thing to Vipers as a club .
Whatever result comes out tommorow , l request the fans to bear with it as the technical team & the Aadminstration have done their part .
